Safe Spring Break will be March 29, 11-1 p.m. on Kyser Brickway. SGA will serve food and provide information on how to stay informed and aware of potential dangers over break.
There were, however, complications ordering the towel giveaways for Safe Spring Break. Senators discussed potential options for giveaways on Thursday, including water bottles, lanyards and sunglasses. SGA decided to order the towels despite complications to use for future events such as Late Night Breakfast.
NSU will provide transportation April 11 for students to attend ULS Day, a yearly event advocating for higher education at the state capitol; their goal is to bring 500 NSU students. Students will leave campus at 7 a.m. to travel to Baton Rouge, and activities will be held 11-2:30 p.m. SGA President Tre Nelson said details are still being finalized.

SGA elections will open April 17 at 8 a.m. and close April 18. Appointments were also made to the Election Board Committee, which provides oversight for the elections to make sure they are fair.
